QuinSal
Netherland Dwarf Holland Lop
& Standard Poultry Breeder
Winchester, Virginia
About our rabbitry:
QuinSal Netherland Dwarf and Holland Lop Rabbitry, and Standard
Poultry is located in the northern section of the historic
Shenandoah Valley. More specifically, just outside the city limits
of Winchester, Virginia. We are in the Northwestern tip of the
state. We are quality breeders of Netherland Dwarfs in many colors;
Siamese Sables, REW (Ruby Eyed White, BEW (Blue Eyed White), Silver
Martens, Pearl Martens, Himalayans, Agouti, Cinnamons, Black,
Orange, Tortishel, Brokens, Lynx, Blue, Otters in Blue, Black,
Chinchilla. We are also breeders of quality Holland Lops in several
colors.
We
do not let our young ones go any earlier than 8 weeks of age and
preferably 12 - 16 weeks of age to ensure that they are strong,
healthy boned and past the infantile enteritis stages. We have been
raising these breeds for over 30 years and have raised them in
several states. We breed for type first and color second. Of
course, no matter how typey the parents are there is always that
one or two kits that does measure up to be taken to a
show.
We
have worked diligently to improve our lines.
You are encouraged to contact us by phone if you have any
questions about how to purchase or any general questions about
either of the breeds and how to care for them.
We welcome 4-H Members and their families.
We do not sell to pet stores or brokers of any kind.
We do ship weather permitting only. If you have any
questions at all, please contact us 703

About our Poultry:
Our love of the chicken and duck is just a hobby and not a
business. Whatever our eggs, chicks, ducklings, etc bring in goes
right back into our animals. They earned it!
The poultry breeds we currently raise are Rhode
Island Reds, Rhode Island Whites, Cuckoo Marans (clean legged),
Danish Brown Leghorns, Blue Andalusions, Ameraucanas, Black Sex
Links and Red Sex Links.
We will have Buff Orpingtons, Blue gene
Ameraucanas, and Blue gene Silkies in 2010. Waterfowl is limited to Pekin Ducks at this
time.
We also have baby chicks and hatching eggs
available.
Started pullets are usually available from mid
to late winter and early spring and again in the fall.
Occasionally, we decide to place some of our laying hens in the
summer months. They will be posted on their own page on this
site.
We also produce some darn delicious, fresh off
the farm eggs for eating.
We do ship as well.
All of our chickens and ducks are fed the
highest quality feeds, as well a special cornbread that has several
healthy ingredients added. You know what they say "what goes into
the chicken, comes out in their eggs!"
We do not allow visits to our little farm here
simply because we take biosecurity and disease prevention very
seriously.
So have some fun browsing around the site and if

We thank you for visiting our site and
